Just the two of us

Dennis and I had a NASCAR weekend. Just the two of us, no kiddos. We had a good time together. We had a fun lunch at Hooters on Saturday. Yes, Dennis was still able to keep his on me : )
For those of you who don't know Jeff Gordon is one of our favorite drivers, so we were of course watching him closely.

We had good seats right out of turn four just past pit entrance. Michael Waltrips pit was right across from our seats so it was fun to watch the pit crew in action.

Then.... there was some times when I did get a little bored when there wasn't much excitement in the race I started noticing a lot of "strange" people. As some people would call NASCAR fans "rednecks" These are the ones who give us NASCAR fans a bad name. So here are some of my observation known as Redneck watch...............

The larger image of this guy is better. He sure made a name for the Jeff Gordon fans. This guy has a black and white mohawk with 24 painted on the sides of his head.

These guys were so drunk they couldn't even hold each other up! They probably didn't even realize that they were at a race. They probably spent more on alcohol than they did on their seats!

These girls were full of tattoos and were not able to keep the TaTas put away. When they were walking up and down the stairs the TaTas seemed to get away from them. YIKES!

This guy and his buddies, what can I say except true rednecks and probably first time at a NASCAR race. He had to paint from and back of his body showing he was an 88 Dale jr. fan. Then there is the fact that he had no shirt on. YUCK! I can't stand guys in public places without a shirt on it is just GROSS! This guy and his buddies everytime the 88 car went by they had to hold their beers up and yell. Like Dale is waving back and saying "right dudes, drink on"
Any how I was driving my husband nuts with the redneck watch/alerts. There were others but this was just a highlight of my little fun I made for myself.
Have a great week everyone! Spring is here : )

I absolutely love pictures of people or things that aren't "just right." You've seen my Ixtapa pictures - LOL! "Things That Are Just Wrong!!" Looks like a fun time, would love to go to one.
