Missing Grandpa & other tidbits

Well it has been a little over a week now that Dennis's Dad Loren has gone back to Minnesota. After having him around for a while, just about 2 months, it seems strange to not have him around.
The puppy dogs sure do miss him and their afternoon walks and the evening cuddle time on the couch. We have heard from him and he arrived home to 50 degree weather. He is not feeling well and we are all thinking of him and hope that he gets better soon. We want him to come back out for a visit again.

The last two weeks I have been working in Bullhead City in one of our other offices. It takes me about 45 minutes one way. I had a lot of time to think and sing to the radio. haha, good thing I was alone.

This week Dennis is sort of on vacation, but he has been out to the office everyday so far for a little bit. The kids are on spring break, so they are off doing things with their friend and spending some time with their Dad. Justin got a job at Sonic and today Tuesday is his first day. He is so excited. I am just thrilled he is going to be earning his own spending money!
I am off from work Thursday and Friday for some quality time with my little family and my weekend getaway with my hubby : 0 )

This weekend is the NASCAR race in Phoenix so Dennis and I are heading down there and hopefully we will get to spend some time with our good friends Kara and David while we are there in Phoenix. I love getting my Kara "fix" and David is always good for a laugh or two and yummy,nummy food.
