Happy Mothers Day

For Mothers Day we had a family BBQ. My Parents, Grandparents, Auntie/Godmother and cousin came for a nice Sunday afternoon together.

My day was great! Dennis and Keirstan were creating in the kitchen. Keirstan made a cake from scratch. It was yummy, it was called a lemonade cake.

They call me Mom. Justin and Keirstan. Justin was so sweet, he actually went shopping and bought me a gift for Mothers day with his own money. He was in Phoenix for State baseball tournaments. (they took 2nd in state) He got a very nice gift set from Bath and Body.

Keirstan and Dennis gave me perfume from Hollister and a dozen pink roses. I was even lucky enough to receive a nice gift from my Parents. A very nice watch. They were all so sweet. I love my little family.

Heres my Dad. He is looking really good for a week after surgery. Some of you may not know it but back on the 29th of April, he was in Flagstaff for surgery on his neck/spine. He had 3 ruptured discs in his neck that had been causing a lot of problems for him and he was in a lot of pain at times and he was losing feeling on his left side in his face,arm and down his leg.

His surgery was to take 3 hours, it ended up taking 5 hours and a lot of stress and worry on us. The surgery ended up taking longer due to the fact that the surgeon found that from him going so long in not getting this repaired that my Dad could have ended up paralyzed. The discs that ruptured were putting preasure on his spine and left indentations on his spine. As you can tell from the photo he is doing pretty well.

Next update. Keirstan is getting ready for her 8th grade graduation. Here is my Grandma doing some touchups to her dress
