Today was a very nice day for the kids and I. It is not often that I get a chance to be alone with them. Dennis had to go to Yuma Arizona for work yesterday and spent the night down there and didn't get home until about 6:30 this evening.
Last night after work I brought pizza home and the kids and I had pizza and watched a movie. It was very relaxing.
This morning we made cinnamon rolls together and then Justin went out and finished hanging the Christmas lights on the house. We then headed out to do some shopping and went out for lunch. I was teasing the kids that it was nice for the Mama hen to be hanging out with her little chick, chicks. Thats what Dennis calls them when I want them to be at home with me or I am getting too protective of them.
On our way home we picked up the lovely Miranda so her and Justin could hangout together. We all put finishing touches on the outdoor decorations.
Keirstan and Miranda decided to have a little kid moment and colored in a coloring book. It was too funny, their creations are now hanging on the fridge.
Since it was such a gorgeous day (60 degrees) Keirstan and I took Daphne to the dog park and Justin and Miranda took Zeus for a walk in the neighborhood. Zeus does not play well with others at the dog park.
Dennis arrived home just in time to have dinner with us. Then the chaos began. It is never very quiet around here when he is home.
To finish off our nice day we all went to Sonic for a treat and then came back home for a few games of WII bowling.
Dennis has fallen asleep on the sofa so it all is quiet again so I was able to sit down and give a Groff Family update.
