Happy 4th of July!!!

Greetings everybody, Its been a while since I have been able to stop by and say hello. First of all our computer was "sick" and had to go and get all fixed up. Now that the computer is home and alive and kicking I can't get my pictures to load onto the computer. So, no photos this visit.

We were on vacation last week and had a very nice time. Dennis and I had a chance to relax. We ended up going to Phoenix and went to a really nice upscale resort hotel. All the rooms are a suites. The beds were so comfy I wanted to bring it home with me. There was a water park there with 3 slides, a wave pool and a lazy river. Dennis and I enjoyed the lazy river and were very lazy! Another great feature was a swim up bar. Yummm......... Ice cold margarita in the heat of a day. There was also a fabulous spa and golf course there as well. We had a very nice time to say the least. Oh, according to my daughter I left out an important feature. There was a mall in walking distance.

As I think about the 4th of July I can't stop thinking about this is the one time I really miss being "back home" in Spicer Minnesota. The 4th of July was such a fun festive time and always so exciting and memorable. The parade was always such a big deal and of course the Miss Spicer coronation. The year I was Princess was such a fun time! It was so much fun participating in all the activities in making up the celebration. For all of you that are able to be there and enjoy all the excitement that Spicer has to offer enjoy it.
