Weekend

Okay, so I was totally bummed that our plans had changed (thanks Pepsi) and we weren't able to go to Phoenix and see Kara and David and go to the NASCAR races, so what do you do but make the best of the situation. Saturday Keirstan had her friend spend the night so they roasted marshmellows in the backyard fireplace and made a HUGE cookie. Sunday I was restless and got the family motivated and we went to the mountain that is really close. We live a few blocks from the road that goes up to the mountain and we took a picnic lunch and the dogs and ended up on about a four mile hike. The weather was perfect! There was some rough spots where there was some good inclines and going down was a little rough as well, but all in all I thought it was a great day. Were all tired except for Justin, he got a call from some friends to go ride dirtbike and so he was gone not long after we got home.
We have rescheduled our plans for a trip to Phoenix to see Kara and David in about two weeks. I am looking forward to it. It should be a good time.
