Happy Friday

Even though I only had to work two days this week I am still happy that is Friday :o )
It has been raining all day. Typical desert winter day. Sitting in my office today even though I had quite a bit of work to do I kept looking out the window wishing I was at home snuggled on the sofa with one or both of the dogs.
Speaking of the dogs, after work today I was playing with them and decided to try a toy that you can put treats in and then as they roll the toy around treats will fall out. BIG MISTAKE!!! Daphne doesn't like to share but I thought they have gotten along so well lately (we have only had Zeus a month) I didn't think anything of it but she saw me loving on him and giving him one of the treats and as soon as I let go of Zeus she lunged at him and the fight was on. Good thing Justin was right near by, we had a heck of a time pulling them apart and one of them actually bit Justin on his boy boob. It looks pretty nasty. It was so scary! They both ended up with a cut on the eye and jowls. UGH! Dennis was pretty mad when he got home. We were suppose to go out for dinner. He lectured me on being more careful about treats and affection until Daphne has adjusted to not being the spoiled princess. She is my dog and she is a lot like me. The day of her not being a spoiled princess may never come.
It was not too long after their battle and they were loving on each other acting like they had never gotten into a fight. Good grief! Like Keirstan said it was just like when her and Justin get into a fight, one minute they hate each other and then the next thing you know they are getting along great.
We did finally end up going out for dinner. Chinese of course. I swear I need to check Dennis's family tree, he has to have Asian ancestors. I think if he could he would eat Chinese food everyday!
We also had to make a stop at Depot. Were looking at new counter tops for in the kitchen. We think darker would look better with the brushed nickle hardware.
Its looking like we are going to watch one of the netflix movies. Friday night lights or Las Vegas is on t.v. tonight. (our two favorites)
A fire in the fireplace, flannel jammies and movie. What a Friday night. I must be getting old.
